Mercer comes with an Alley Viper helmet? lol

Falcon looks much better in this picture than in the grainy pictures we've seen of him. Might have to just keep that beret off, it looks better without.

Red Dog is badass! I love that they made him a big guy. Looks like they used a lot of BenchPress to make him. And that jersey is pretty close to being an Arizona Cardinals away jersey which gives him even more cool points.

I'm digging the camo patterns on the Marauders. The blue kind of messes it up for me though. Without the blue, those would be some awesome figs.

I think all of the Noks are fantastic. They couldn't have made Zandar any better than that. He's spot on!

What's with Hasbro's insistance on putting knee pads on every male figure lately. For some it's ok, but on certain figures it is a bad choice. Gnawgahyde, Falcon, and Mercer are perfect examples of this.
Looking for Arctic Commando Snow Serpent, Starduster version A, and 82/83 trooper rifles.

Thanks for the close ups! I didn't think of Mercer being an Ex-Alley, but I can dig it. Wish he had a different rifle. I may have to do what someone else suggested and swap this Falcon head with the comic pack.

I'm with you. Heck, I'll probably buy a second set just to repaint all that blue.

And is it just me? Or does Gnawgahyde look EXACTLY like Marvel's Kraven The Hunter? I know Hasbro has stated they don't share molds between brands, but if they don't make a Kraven with that guy they're wasting a golden opportunity.

ARGH! December is too far away!

Looks like I will be doing with these sets like I did with the Cobra Island sets: Buy one for the full set, then find the individual figures I want from the other.

In this case, I want all the Dreadnoks set, but out of the Joe set I only want the Renegades. I was never a fan of the Marauders subteam growing up, and have no interest in them now.

My only complaints with them is that I have never been a fan of the Pursuit of Cobra logo on Mercer's shirt and Falcon's beret. I prefer the Rise of Cobra Falcon logo. Luckily, Mercer's will be covered with his vest, and I already have the other Falcon so i have no interest in him.

I am kinda surprised that Falcon is painted in the Marauders paint scheme, since he was not a part of the original subteam. They instead, could have given him a look more as he appeared in the animated movie, or just replace him with a Marauders Mutt and Junkyard.

Now I just need to find Zanzibar's Air Skiff to display with him. And Thrasher (Sorry, NOT calling him Thunder) will be standing next to my old Thunder Machine.
Needs: -Blue Snow Cat Missiles -Green Snow Cat Missiles and Torpedo Skis (Weapons pack) -APC Seatbelt (1) -Rise of Cobra PIT Ping Pong Table, Paddles, and Sticker Sheets -Rise of Cobra "Falcon Logo" Stickers -25th Anniversary Crankcase -Rise of Cobra Heavy Metal (R.H.I.N.O. Driver) -Tiger Force Tiger Cat -Tiger Force Tiger Paw -Rise of Cobra Outpost Defender Roadblock -Rise of Cobra Outpost Defender Tripwire With Robot -Rise of Cobra Zartan (Blue Camo) -Rise of Cobra Scarlett (Blue Camo)

If I were still collecting Joes, I'd be disappointed in that Marauders set. Where's Mutt & Junkyard? Why didn't Hasbro use the classic version of Spirit?

The dreadnok set looks pretty cool, glad Gnawgahyde is in the set.
