Forth coming Target Exclusives...

I spoke to someone The Leader on Hand at the Target and used what John Missal told me and they were surprising helpful. They told me that they dont have any on hand. But they could not sell them before they were allowed to. But If I come in with the DCPI number they will let me know if they have them and when the reset was going to happen. "they had know idea the exact time frame for the reset".

You're welcome, and if you go in before Noon and you see a team out on the floor that is focused heavily in a series of aisles that have no product, ask for their team lead and that particular person WILL know with the reset is....

What is the difference between street dated and non street dated items?

When I spoke to the LOD she said they could not sell them before she was allowed to do so. If they have a street date then it means she cant sell it before a certain date?

Are the DVD packs coming to walmarts and Targets to for the reset?

Well my Target is ready to go...too bad they dont have any singles. But I confirm now that Target has the vehicles, about a buck cheaper that TRU.

Street dated items are regulated by the manufacturer and specify it on the box. THe only currently Street dated toys forthcoming are Star Wars Clone Wars toys. As specified by Lucas.

GIJOE is NOT street dated. THheir reset date is NOT a street date, but the date that their planograms are due by corporate to have been done by (the week of). Thus they CAN and many targets ARE selling these items currently.

They just don't want to do the work or they don't understand how their own system works.

If you came into my store, we'd be more than happy to pull them.

BTW, we have everything in stocke EXCEPT the exclusive vehicles.

When the Target exclusive vehicles came out, I was checking the stock with the scanning machines and the DPI number. When my local Target had them in the back, I asked a Target manager if she could pull me a set of three from the back. She checked her hand held thingy and then said to me " I can't do that, these are the 25th anniversary, I just can't because their the 25th anniversary, so sorry, but their the 25th anniversary." all in one breath. I just wasn't nerd boy enough to explain to her how foolish that sounded...me being a Joe collector and all. Obviously she didn't know better.

Called my Target and they dont have the vechinals at all. None in the city dose so there not out yet. But the reset is done

Which ones? The jets are coming out probably late Aug/ early Sept. Those are the new exclusives. The old exclusives(AWE, blue HISS, & Night Specter) are by now long gone.

My store is setting the aisle up early because of the Clone Wars release.Check out your stores sometime possibly late next week to see if they have done the same

Those vehicles(black HISS, Armadillo vs Air Chariot, RAM vs Flight Pod, VAMP, SHARC, Firebat) are not Target exclusives. I got some at Walmart for $14.76.
