Who's the best color match as driver for the CAT and the SMS?

I'm looking for a closest possible match to that lighter red, but I don't want to use the the 1983 Hiss Driver because he just doesn't look right. Any suggestions for drivers for these vehicles? I tried the "custom" red Cobra soldiers, but they're too maroon. Crimson Guard is also too dark (but maybe the lighter variant would work?). The Crimson Guard Immortal (1991) looks cool too, but not sure if the reds would clash too badly. Would be nice to match the CAT II driver though. Thoughts?

I do LOVE Stratoviper v1! One of my favorite figures for sure!! For me though, he's too distinctively Night Raven's pilot to army build with him. Wouldn't want to make him seem less special...

Hmmm.. What about Iron Grenadier v1? Never seen one in person, but color looks about right. Might look ESPECIALLY cool with the CAT given the predominately black w/red accents...

I really like the stratoviper too. I have them for my mamba (not a big fan of gyro-viper)as well as the raven. I think your right though. They are pilots and have no business on the ground

I've never seen the CAT in person, but the iron grenadier seems like a pretty good fit. Maybe someone who has both could supply us with a pic

That's exactly it! Same with Wild Weasel and AVAC -- two AWESOME figures, but both very disctintively pilots. AVAC from a color standpoint looks fantastic with the CAT, so much so that I thought of trying to find a different head for him to make a custom CAT driver.

That'd be great! I like the IG anyway, and since I very recently started expanding my collection past 1986, I'll probably just go ahead and pick one up.
