Very cool thread. I found this picture on ebay. This one came with a light green bazooka. The list above says a dark green bazooka accessory also exists. Does anyone have a picture of the dark green bazooka next to a light green bazooka. There doesn't seem to be a picture of the dark green bazooka anywhere on yojoe.

Was there one with a gray bazooka packed with the Soldier too?

So why is the version with the bazooka not listed in the Yojoe archives? And is that just a regular Zap bazooka (the light green one)? Or is there anything special about it? I can't tell if that figure also has the gun or just the bazooka.

    1993 Ace has tan backing.

All of the figures in your last 'guesses' group have tan backing, except for mailaway Jetpack General Hawk and possibly Deep Six. General Hawk is a redback, and I don't know about Deep Six.

    Yes they are.

    Spiderpumpkin:

I have never seen a gray bazooka with this set. Looking at the picture you posted, the light green bazooka has a B1 on the handle. A thread from 2005 talks about it http://forums.yojoe.com/toys-1982-19...og-pack-8.html I've seen a few of these sets over the years and the seller always had a 1982 Zap w/bazooka so I couldn't figure out which light green bazooka came with the Cobra Soldier. I recently came across another set and the bazooka handle has B1 on it. B1 has also been on the bazooka handle of other sets I have owned.

I know there is already a pic here, but I thought I'd throw in a couple more. I forgot which light green bazooka is Zap's and which one is Cobra's. I had to edit the bottom picture a bunch to get it to fit without stretching the screen and now it's too small...ugh.

The Cobra Officer came with a gun and the two soldiers came with one bazooka each. The mortar came sealed in it's own little baggy. I believe it's a regular Zap bazooka, but bazookas came with different letter/number combinations on them. The dark green one has A1 on the handle and *I think* the light green one has B1 on the handle.

    Thanks, I'll update it.

Edit: A neat thing to notice on the 6199 file card is that 'Mortar, Bazooka' is added on.

Thanks for the info! Still strange the archives don't mention these.

Also, my mail-order Deep-Six filecard had a red backing.

Thanks for the pictures and information keg_daddy and smarchitelli. That dark green bazooka sure is a cool accessory I didn't know existed until last week.
