I loved hoe they played on all 3 (yes, I said three) genres of G. I. Joe mythos. Duke making Scarlett choose between him (from the cartoons) and Snake Eyes (from the Marvel series). Also, they snuck in an "I love you" aimed at Ripcord (TRoC).

I read your entire review and loved it. Yeah, I'll eventually see the movie but wow, what an entertaining critique. It was fun to read since it felt just as if I was talking to someone who knew that I knew all the characters and junk so little jokes could be inserted to keep it moving. Maybe someone whose only contact with G.I. Joe is from 40 years ago wouldn't have caught all the subtle in-jokes, but I did and appreciated it. Well done, and I hope to see more movie reviews from you.
