Arrow Images for new sculpt figures

Let me start by saying I am a ARAH collector...it has been my position that I will not purchase any of the new stuff unless it really amazes me. What ever I do purchase will go go into my sons plie of joes......

OK so I went to walgreens yesterday and came across Wave 4 figures. Lifeline and Airtight where to good to let sit there. The only bad thing was there was no Sci Fi and they were $11.49 each. Ouch.

So it got me thinking. I do have a handful of figures that I really feel are truly awesome. I have let some other peg warm that I kinda regret( jungle viper). So when I got home, I was looking at the stuff I do have, and it is almost all Cobra Army Builders. Outside of the 5 packs & all of the DVD packs, and the first set of 25th figures, I have very few members of the Joe team. My son is going to have to go in with a small squad of Joes to get CC.

So it got me thinking, have I ever overlooked a great member of the Joe team b/c I favored buying Cobras? So I went to the Archive to view the figures from 2008 and on.....

****and this is the purpose of the post****: I wanted to see a group photo of the figures that were realeased each year with out having to look individually......I couldnt find one. (I love the "identify my figure" section bc I can see so many of them at once...I can then pick one that I dont reconginize and learn about it)

With the new stuff I cant.....Individual pictures are great, but is there a way to get a group shot of the figures that where realeased by year and tags placed over them. For me it woul dbe awesome because I can scroll over teh picture, and if I find one i like....I can go to the toy section and find out when it was released etc.

BTW to date my biggest regret was not getting a Blowtorch and I never saw a Low Light at Retail.

I too would like to know if there's a site with pictures like this.

I've been going to review section of GeneralsJoes.com for good pictures of these figures. It's still organized by figure, so it's not exactly what you're looking for, but he does take quite a few group shots as well.

I would suggest that too. The names aren't all there and its not hotlinked. But when you look at classic figures he'll do a group shot near the end. Here's one from the Life-Line review

Although that doesn't help too much with the year of release. But its a start.

Don't feel too bad. A lot of people missed out on Low-Light, and I passed up on Blowtorch too(wanted to wait for the re-paint that never came). Then regretted it. I ended up getting one from some Canadian friends on the forums here. Some places up there they have PoC Blowtorch and Cobra Commander peg warming. Which is what I thought would happen here, but didn't.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Now if we can get some Forum members to post picks in release year we could have a thread dedicated to pic like this for reference.

It might be great if we could have group shots of ARAH style joes too.

Here's another one from his Airtight review. The 1985 crew in the new style.

I want that Roadblock, Wetsuit, Alpine, Sgt. Slaughter, and whoever is beside him and Quick Kick. And the one to the right of Quick Kick. Also Dial-Tone, and whoever is beside Mainframe. And finally, the one behind Dial-Tone.

From what I can figure the order of the 1986 figures is Low-Light, Roadblock, Sci-Fi, Beach Head, Wet Suit, Hawk???, Leatherneck, Sgt SLaughter, Slip Stream???, Dialtone, Lifeline, Lift-Ticket, Main Frame, Claymore

    the 1985 Figures
Dusty, Snake-Eyes, Alpine, Bazooka, Barbecue, Lady Jaye, Flint, Airtight, Sgt Slaughter, Footloose, Quick Kick, and Heavy Metal.
