OK, the celebrity was Tom Arnold, so the characters are Tom and Arnold, the assisitants of Hector Ramirez in "Twenty Questions." Arnold was later revealed to be the Baroness.

Now an easier one: which character was partly named after the actor who provided the voice of his arch-rival?

Hint #1: The actor appeared in "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter."

Hint #2: The character in question spoke more lines in his one appearance than any other male one-shot guest star.
