Hey guys, my buddy just had a pretty bad fire at his appartment and all of his figures are compleatly covered in soot from all the smoke. Does anyone have any good ideas as to how to clean them without damaging the figures? Thanks.

the best way (at least to start) is good ol' (dish)soap, an old tooth or nail brush, and water. that should get at least most of the heavy stuff off.

Toss 'em in the dish washer (if you have one) and let it rip, just remember to turn off the heat cycle. Otherwise do what gunless suggested.

What I would do is take them completely apart before washing them. This would be time consuming but atleast your screws won't rust!
