Hey gang,
I'm brand new to this forum. I'm a long time vintage comic collector, but the past year I've been reacquiring vintage 80s toys from my childhood--namely G1 Transformers and finally my first GI Joe is in transit :) fairly white and no yellowing. No bubble but all weapons and the 32 back card is decent. Love that original Kmart price sticker :)

Original Storm Shadow. One of the first figures I ever bought back in the mid 80's and one of my all time favorite figures.

Yah he and snake eyes and firefly always seem to top the joe list :)

Very cool figure. I also picked up a V1 Storm Shadow not too long ago, but not nearly in as good shape in terms of yellowing, and without bow, nun-chucks and card. I too recently caught the "Bugg" to get back into collecting Joes, and the buying seems to have a snowballing affect.

1982 Snake Eyes, 9 back. Bubble still sealed to card but it was neatly cut on edge to remove figure and accessories. Smart person, whomever preserved the bubble. I paid $75 plus shipping. I thought it was going to end much higher. I was surprised to get him semi carded with bubble. Did I underpay? I also paid $75 plus shipping for the Storm Shadow I posted on this thread earlier, and that had no bubble at all.

I think I still like Snake Eyes over Storm Shadow a tad...how about everyone else?

What a cool start to a collection. I never had either as a kid, and when I did get them at that point I had tons of figures, most of the early line. There is something cool about a minimal collection of really great figures. It lets you really focus on them and enjoy them.

Very cool snake eyes! It's great you got the accessories with him. I got a snake eyes V2 and a storm shadow V1 with no and partial accessories thinking I'd just wait and try an complete the figures, but I'm finding that getting their accessories is quite difficult, or their extremely expensive individually.

Tell me about it. All I need to complete my nicely yellowed v1 Storm Shadow is his bow which is a tad pricey.

Yeah, I feel like the way to go now is just to buy figures complete, cause it seems like it'll be cheaper and less of a headache in the long run. I still need to get all of Snake Eyes V2 accessories (feel weird calling Timber an accessory), Storm Shadow V1 bow and nun-chucks, Snow Serpents snow shoes, MAGGOT's helmet and antenna, Sgt. Slaughters stick thing and Night Vipers gun and monocle. All these things seem to be tuff to find, so go for really high prices for what they are.

Quite true. Plus, some collectors want the same accessories that came with that same figure. I try to buy complete in one shot.
