I just started using the Database/Price Guide to catalog my collection. However, I have no idea what the "conditions " one can select for each toy represent:

MISP C-10
MISP C-9
MISP C-8
MISP C-7
MISP C-6
MISP C-5
MISP C-4
MISP C-3
MISP C-2
MISP C-1
Loose C-10
Loose C-9
Loose C-8
Loose C-7
Loose C-6
Loose C-5
Loose C-4
Loose C-3
Loose C-2
Loose C-1

Are the details for these conditions defined somewhere? I would like to grade my collection accordingly.

MISP is Mint in Sealed Package. The figure is usually considered mint if never opened. The number refers to the condition of the package. a C-10 is mint, a C-9 is near mint+, C-8 is a figure that is near mint, and so on. C-8 is probably the lowest collectible grade for most things.

Loose figures are graded using the same system except the figure itself is graded rather than the package. C-10 being mint as above.

Here is how I do it.

C-10 is perfect
C-9 is almost flawless. Might be one or two very minor blemishes.
C-8 may have one or two blemishes on the card or figure that are noticable if looking for them.
C-7 would have very noticable damage.
C-6 would be pretty severe.

http://www.planetforce.com/gradingscale.html Planet Force breaks it down pretty nicely.
