Hello all! I got back into collecting again five years ago. I recently had one of the top three things I'm most happy about happen in my collecting pursuit. Not too long ago I was fortunate to buy a toy collection from India and a few things were in there some of you might find very interesting. The collection consisted of what you see here plus two He-Man figures. I just sold the He-Man figures and here is what is left. Some of the notables include:

Purple Ripper

Emerald Green Zap (Variant-no painted pockets on the figure and no date stamp or Funskool stamp)

2 Bats (the chest sticker is different from the other)

2 different Clutch figures (one has the funskool stamp and the other does not and is a much brighter green color)

Bright Green Vamp (I did a comparison with the U.S. version-once again, no date stamp)

Yellow Devilfish (Again, I did a comparison and there is no date stamp)

Moderators, I didn't post the actual pics because of bandwidth issues. However, I did post links to the pics and I'm not sure if this poses a problem for you. Please let me know if this is still a problem and I will modify my post.

I will be happy to answer any questions relating to the collection itself. Maybe some of you out there could help me discover some of the history of the Zap, Vamp, and Devilfish.

Later guys,
John (a.k.a. kiddreams)

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!

That is AMAZING! I consider myself a little learned on Foreign items, but I have to admit that I have never seen a Yellow Funskool Devilfish before!

That is one sick score! Would you mind if I emailed you to get some pics for use in the Archive?

Again, great score! and thanks for sharing!

I told myself a while back I would not collect funskool just because they are too difficult to find and very pricey. Well, I think I might have a good starting point along with the few MOC's I have. Therefore I would not be getting rid of them unless I had an offer I was comfortable with.

I think there's only one word that covers it: awesome!

Makes me think my uk stuff is 'worthless' :)

The emerald green Zap is probobally nothing more than a missed paint application, as for the no stamps, thats easy...90% of the early funskool joes dont have any markings, Ive had 3 diff. blue snake eyes and blue major bludd all with no stamps.

There is no Funskool B.A.T picture on yojoe. No one had sent one in yet. John said he will, and once he does it will get posted.

I must admit, that yellow Devilfish looks pretty tight. I recently got a Funskool orange Devilfish and painted it olive drab. I like it, but now I almost wish I did the yellow.

I gotta ask about the he-man figures. was one of the two a faker?

SnakeStorm

No, the two figures were the He-Man and Skeletor figures. They were the first addition figures, I think. They were in pretty rough shape though.

Those are really awesome!!! The Funskool B.A.T. was like #2 on my list of grails, but I have my #1 now. How much would that particular figure cost? :D
