I just received a mixed lot from an auction that included a Vamp II. I bought it mainly for the figures and the few vehicles were said to be in somewhat used shape so I wasn't expecting much.

Anyways, the Vamp II looked complete at first glance, but then I noticed it had the top and swing doors like the Stinger. I'm guessing that at one time the owner had both and just changed them around, because there were some Stinger missles included in the lot, but I thought I'd check and make sure they were never made like this.

Was it a lighter brown, and had a different hood? If so, then it's the mail-in version. I was eyeing one, but it went for more than $60. Too high for me.
