i have two motor vipers one has silver paint on the gun on his right leg. the other motor viper has no silver paint on the gun on the same leg. both made in hong kong and made in 1986. here is a picture of what im asking. is this a varient or a factory mess up.

I would guess that missing one paint app is a factory mess up.
