The UK or Euro repaints of GIJoe? Care to post some pix?

I just got my Red Lazer <Cobra Commander repaint> and Lazer Exterminator <HAL Repaint> and added them to my Crimson Regime!!

Most definately. I got some pics of Action Force stuff in my old collection pics. I love all the Action Force stuff. From the GIjoe stuff marked Action Force instead of GIjoe to the Cobra vehicles marked differently. Like the Sting or CLAW.

I got some AF figures that were given to me by a good friend in the UK that I'd been hooking up with US Joes. What a guy! Got a Quarrel w/crossbow and Hunter that I made into a Cobra Night Officer (leads my Night Viper Squad) :cool:

Overall, I really dig Action Force. Someday, I want the APC.

Heck yeah, man! I use my Red Laser and Exterminator with my Crimson Legion as well. Infact I got them on a shelf surrounded by the original Claws and singled packed ones with o-rings. Escorted by the a few Venom Strikers.

Can't remember if any of my old pics have my AF HQ, Wolverines, and Panthers? I know they didn't have my Cobra vehicles with the different Cobra stickers.

I have most of the UK repaints, very nice. I also have some carded AF figures that aren't repaints of original joe molds...

I am trying to get one of each AF figure, both with and without the Joe articulation. In many ways I consider it a shame that it was turned into GIJoe. Don't get me wrong; I personally prefer the articulation and style of Joes. But the pre-GIJoe AF had a great style to it. I really wish that Hasbro would use some of the new molds to not only make new versions of some of the Joe-articulated AF. But I would also like to see some old AF characters brought into the mix. How many times have I seen the M Bison head used for a Black Major custom? Enough that I always think of the Black Major when I see it.

IMO, the old AF enemy toys would be a great new addition to the regular Joe story. I know that some characters became others in the Joe line. But I don't see a reason why they can't be split at this point (having both Cobra Commander *and* Baron Ironblood or both Destro *and* Red Jackal exist).

AF is great. I will always want to see more of it.

I still have my AF Stalker (Snake Eyes v1 w grey paint details) for trade (or sale) along with a lot of other non AF joes. I'm also in possession of a regular soldier dressed in green and black camo, and he has his arms posed so he can hold a rifle. The articulation is only on the head, shoulders and thighs, I think he is an old UK Action Force (I think they might have come carded as "Action Man" Action Force or something similar.
One of my mates has a "cobra" jeep (the one that in the US came packed with a grey repaint of the Cobra Officer) from the AF line, but damn him, he's not selling it to me!

I have had plenty of AF Stalkers, they really don't do well :)

I got an extra stickersheet of Cobra decals and decided to put them on the cobra vehicles myself. It was pretty hard trying to find out which stickers to puit where 'cause I didn't have the correct blueprint, but after a lot of research I think I got it right. It's an older picture, 'cause now I've also got the Red Hiss with Cobra decals:D

None yet... Havent had time space or energy to put them up... plus with a 6 yr old son & a 1-1/2 yr old terror of a daughter, my hands are tied up most of the time - figuratively AND literally!! LOL

DUDE, i attemtped to set up a diorama one time, turned around for ONE SECOND to get my digicam, and my "adorable" not even-one-year-old-daughter back then had stomped on 12 of my TRU Infantry Troopers, and had my Night Force Shockwave in her mouth...

That was the LAST TIME I was gonna turn my back on my daughter, hahaha

Damn, I was hoping that being a former UK exclusive as well as a con exclusive in the US (quite a while back now) repaint of arguably the most popular character he'd be worth a bob or two. Evidently not. Granted, if it was me I'd be out looking for one of the more recent ones, but then thats the sort of guy I am.

I have started collecting the Action Force stuff. My collection is small consisting of the UK Mutt, UK Spirit, the 6 UK Tiger Force, Gaucho, all 3 Jammer Varients, Blades and the Hawk heli, and the HQ (to be sent to me soon!). I've been trying real hard to get the UK CGI, Dophin and Moondancer, and especially the AF ATC, but haven't had alot of luck.

I collect pretty much anything Action Force Pre-1985.. So far i have all of the carded figures except for the night patrol figure, plus prototypes, displays etc..

ooh, I had an AF skystriker. got it at a boot sale though, and it was well beat up, wings still moved but it had no wheels, seats(if it came with any) weapons or any of that crap. I usually played with it as a crashed jet, that some poor pilot had been shot down in and captured.

Action Force was actually before my time, so I didn't see any of them untill I started collecting Joes and bought via the internet.
I still don't buy them, It's not nostalgic to me, but then again, they're Europe. I have all the tiger force figures, mutt, spirit and mutt sealed in bagg. Still searching for the CGI Euro excl., but I do have an AF Stalker. the repaint of snake-eyes. I won't be searching for those figs, but I do think I want to get my hand on the repaints after I finished collecting all the figs from 1982-1994.

Does anyone remember when Action force went from the AF cards to the GI Joe style cards that figures were mispacked, I.E the card would be for a SAS trooper but the figure would be a new Cobra one, I remember getting my CC that way.

thnx man the blue ss isn't real its a bootleg that some argentina guys tried to sell as authentic. i only own 1 and bought it after the truth came out about them. it may be customed but still a cool item with a story to it.

That green command center is the UK's version of the HQ released for the Action Force line. It's exact release date is so far unknown I believe, but I could be mistaken. It came with two figures, Gaucho (Gung Ho repaint), and Jammer (Stalker re-paint). I just got my loose one in the mail yesterday, and I tell you this playset is SO much nicer then the US version. It's absolutely beautiful! I love the green. Even the bright red/orange accessories look good on it.

I've got a very nice example of a boxed Action Force command centre for sale. It's 100% complete, comes with Gaucho & Jammer & has the original cardboard insert. The box looks good apart from one side where it got opened all those years ago.

Yeah. It was the same thing with the Marvel UK GI Joe and Transformers reprints, not only did some poor sod have to tippex out all of the Joe references and squeeze in A.F. or something, but also all of the the "* See Issue #" boxes too. LOL.

I am new to AF.
I only have a cardrd ripcord on AF card, a Cardrd toxo viper and 2 4 loose figures, two divers in grey helmet & 2 refular divers. My favorite things are the 2 red AF Jump backpacks i use for my Crimson Guards. I also have a mint AF fanclub kit.

always been interested in collecting it but always found it hard to aquire them. Those pics are amazing.:)
