Starting today, my connection to is VERY sluggish and on the message board, all the sponser's links are red X boxes. I've never had this problem before.

Any ideas what might be causing it? Any help is appreciated!

On the homepage the ads do load (seem to have their own domain name, unlike the IP here for the forum ads).

They've always been a problem for me, as every page on the Forum didn't appear until ALL the ads loaded.

Yeah I had the same problem this afternoon? It was fine this morning and seems to be better now. Just a slight pause compared to the neverending load.

We know about this. Jeff sent a email to the tech today and it should be fixed shortly.

Here's the explanation from Mark, the tech guy...

"Give my apologies to the board - it was working on Mozilla (which doesn't time out and is more forgiving apparently) so I didn't see the urgency of the
matter (some people were in just fine and posting all day, I thought it was some sort of transient server problem) Some IE's apparently just wouldn't render the page though."

Should be all working now though.

Yeah, it seems to be working fine now. I was worried there was going to be a crash or something.

Sorry for whining about a temporary problem!

Thanks for the fix Jeff!

haha off course IE, I should have guessed :)
I really hate that browser. You get a lot of spyware with that one.
Even Avant browser is better. It's based on IE but much better.
Anyway Firefox / Mozilla will do fine.
