Am I imagining things, or do I remember someone posting about a role play kit that was either a Cobra Sabotage Kit or a Firefly Backpack?

Working on the Firefly Feature Character Spotlight, and I kinda/sorta recall something like that.

There sure is one out there, and not really that hard to find loose, but the only boxed one Ive seen in the last few years went over 200.00. There is also a Doc Medic kit as well....

Damn...i'd love to see pics of both of those boxed. Drew, did you happen to save the picture from the auction?

Unfortunately no, but if I remember correctly, it was similar to the 84 artwork graphics from his filecard, and the box looked to be about as big as a boxed snowcat maybe?? Would love to find one of them, but like I said Ive only seen one or two Firefly backpacks with the boxes...

Is this the Doc Medic Kit or is there another? Don't have boxed pics of it though.

If I am not mistaken there is was one produced for G.I. Joe (Medic) and one for Cobra (Firefly).

Yep, thats the Doc one.

Lord help my bank account if I ever see a boxed one on ebay......

The Firefly tool kit backpack that I recall sold a few years earlier for $250, also boxed.

In case anyone is interested in tool kits, I know of at least 3 other Joe ones. Two were just plain wooden boxes (one large and one smaller) with tools inside that except for the inserted instructions and contents list you'd never know it was Joe. The other was a plastic tool box like kit, lighter green colored. I don't know what's in it because mine is still originally shrink-wrapped.

As for the "Doc" Medic kit, there are two versions, the US and Canadian of course. You can tell the difference because the US version just has the RAH logo and the Canadian one has the logo AND a red cross in a white circle to the right of it. Same tools inside.

All right--I just saw one of these "Saboteur" kits on ebay a few days ago and it looked perfect. I was all set to pay whatever it took to win it and the auction ended early--did one of you guys get the seller to end it early? Arrrrgh!

I hate to break it to you but I think a whole lot of people already did. I imagine that is why it ended early. Someone probably offered him a nice amount for it.

hey dockingbay - no need to break it to me. I kinda figured that once I saw the other post about it. I never knew they made something like that and am glad that the character spotlight pointed it out so that I can keep my eyes open for it now. Once I looked at the ebay link and saw how quick it was taken off, I figured that someone offered a pretty penny for it but maybe the person knows more about it than I do. thanks

Just giving ya a hard time as that piece as a whole lot of us drooling :)

It must have gone pretty high, cause I emailed the seller when the auction was still up, and offered him 160.00 for it, and got no reply :( :(

I can't find either the Firefly set or the Doc set in the archives, does that mean it hasn't been added yet?

There is the medical kit, we don't have pictures of the Saboteur Kit to add right now. The pics in the FCS are anonymous (from an old auction) so I don't want to use those.
