Let's just say that I've actually met Torch at the local Denny's.

Mine is defnitely Shipwreck vs. Electric Eel, followed by Snow Wolf vs. Frostbite at a close second. Torch is great...but I prefer to save myself the money from getting him and just stick with my original Torch.

Back when I lived in Pennsylvania, I also knew about three or four Dreadnok Rippers.

I've always liked snow bound troopers. So my choice is obvious.

Torch is just too well done not to get the *nod* imo. He's one of those figures that comes along & breaks new ground for future waves.. absolutely fantastic! :)

I voted Bazooka/Torch.

Bazooka has always been one of my favorite Joes, and any new Dreadnok figure is a good figure.

Personnally I wanna see Heartwrencher made.

My second choice would been the Artic pack. Love those snow troopers.

Torch. my first joe, one of my favorites. although if he doesn't have his necklace I may have to custom one from kwinn.

12-19-2004, 10:09 PM
I voted for torch. He is the 5th best Cobra.:)

12-19-2004, 10:17 PM

I voted for Bazooka and Torch. Bazooka is a good solid figure all around. Torch is good, so is the new rivetless shoulder design, but the elbow is awful. Like Depth Charge and Grunt before him, Torch's elbow bends backwards. The BATs having that feature, I understand, but these guys are supposedly human. It's not natural.
And the new elbow swivel doesn't help matters. Go back to always using the bicep swivel

Frostbite and Snow Wolf is good pack due to Snow Wolf. AWESOME mask! Frostbite has that V-shaped torso that restricts arm movement. While no figure can truly be proportioned correctly, at least allow the hands to touch above the head

I was tempted to vote for BAZOOKA (great figure) vs TORCH (even greater figure) but went for the arctic contingent instead. I can't find the ICVE SABRE anywhere so was missing a decent FROSTBITE (and this FROSTY is very good!), but the SNOW WOLF is just too 'cool' for words (forgive the pun). I won't use him as a "V-Troop" though, as the concept does nothing for me. Instead he'll be a regular human "Snowserpent Commander".

My pick is Frostbite / Snow Wolf. I really like the accesories that came with this set... the Frostbite snowboard, the Snow Wolf cape, and snow shoes. Snow Wolf has a detailed sculpt and the gun even fits on the figure!

Wouldn't it be great if they did the originals like they did with star wars(vintage original trilogy collection)I want 1985 Snake Eyes w/Timber,Stormshadow,All the snow cobra's and joe's.actually all from 1982-1987.

Snow Wolf and Frosbite get the nod for me, Torch and Bazooka coming a close second. I mean those arms bending backwards it ruins the figure!

I just recently found a SGT Bazooka and Torch. Torch is my new favorite Dreadnok(well besides Zartan of course), his flame thrower is crazy

02-11-2005, 08:39 PM
gotta choose......frostbite/snow wolf. theres a paintball gun as an accessory. how can it get any better than that? plus snow wolf looks like a friggin badazz!!

02-12-2005, 10:16 PM
I think the Slice figure turned out well, better, in my opinion, than the late Storm Shadows have...

02-20-2005, 08:37 PM
What's funny about the new Bazooka is that he looks almost smart , kind of like a modern-day Clark Gable with that lil' moustache.

02-25-2005, 11:54 PM
Actually, it looks like Bazooka found a girl and had to clean up.

I like the 3 3/4 B.A.T.s.

Look at the avatar and you can guess my choice!!! I love not being in the majority.

05-06-2005, 11:50 AM
I am a big B.A.T. fan. I currently have 10 12" B.A.T. IIs, if I can find more I will get them. The 2pack B.A.T.s represent the largest amount of my collection. However, I consider Gung Ho to be my favorite JOE. I know G.H. has been done to death but that has not changed my opinion of him. As for 12" figures I think the B.A.T.s are the best but Gung Ho comes in second.:)

I had to go with Bazooka and Torch, Mainly for Torch. Like someone else said, any new Dreadnok is a good figure! Also, I agree with whoever said they want to see a Heartwrencher figure. And, of course, we all want a Zanya figure. Oh, speaking of the Torch figure... anyone got an extra one they'd like to sell? I can't find one. :D

Never to late? I hope... Anyway Shipwreck has always been one of my favorite figures, and a new figure is just what I had been waiting for.

Hey, glad this is still open. Remember when I said any 'Nok figure is a good figure? If not then scroll up two posts to my last one on this thread, ya' simp! :p

Anyhow, I have to take that back, now, I just saw the new DTC Monkeywrench. BLECH!!! I think that says it all.
