Hi i'm from Milwaukee and I was wondering just what the Chicago Coil is. Is it some kind of collectors club meeting or is it a G.I.JOE show open to anyone that wants to attend?

Not really a club per se, but something that just grew. Some other regional groups started popping up online (NYC vipers, SoCal Dreadnoks), and so some of us in Chicago decided we should try to get together as well. Nothing formal, no mermbership, or anything like that. Whoever shows up is welcome. Its not a show, but a gathering of fans, at my house, watching Joe toons, trading,/buying/selling figs, eating, drinking, playing video games, etc. We try to do this about once every 2 months. Hope you can make it.

For those that DON'T really know me, I'm one of the staff members over at Joesightings, and the owner of that REALLY obnoxious collection everyone's been gawking over for the last 2 days... ;)
