I was recently reading an '80s-era interview with him where he mentioned trying to respond to as many letters from comic readers as he could, and it reminded me of a postcard I got from him when I wrote to the comic in 1989 or so. I think I was trying to get a No-Prize pertaining to the consistency of Road Pig's schizoid personality. I also had a theory about Snake Eyes' origin that was disproved (something about the Department of Defense file on the cover of #26 standing for "Date of Death"). At any rate, pretty cool.
Cool, there's something to hang on to!, might even be worth framing.

Could you post a pic of the card? That sounds like an awesome item.

Stupid question--the Marvel No-Prize wasn't really a prize was it? Did Marvel at least send you a letter or something? I assumed growing up that the no-prize wasn't really anything but I just want to make sure.

The No-prize was an empty envelope seen here...

And Larry Hama... he sent me a nice original drawing once. If you're lucky enough to find his email, I'm sure he'd do the same, he's a really nice guy.

Hey guys,
Next time I'm at my parents' house I will scan and post the card. It got a little bent in the mail, and has no postmark on it because it came in an envelope. I wish I'd kept it so I could know when it was received... it also has what looks like a Herb Trimpe-era (non-original) illustration of Hawk, Scarlett, and Snake-Eyes on it.
