Was ecstatic to find a whole plethora of Wave7 at a nearby target
so i horded all the 3 Snake Eyes & Swamp Rat packs that were left there
got home, opened up the first one black paint above the goggles.
hmm strange, i went into my toy chest to get a Wave7 Swamp Rat I bought
last weekend, & lo & behold he had YELLOW paint above the goggles.

Ahh crap :mad: I thought I became another victim of Hasbro's ineptitude &
blatant lack of quality control.
I opened up the next pack, and it had YELLOW paint above the goggles!! :confused:
Now am thinking the black paint is the one that was missed by quality control

I ripped open the last pack, GOOD HEAVENS :eek: Black paint above the goggles

so out of the 4 packs i have gotten, two are yellow, two are black

Anybody else have this???

Those are the single pack Swamp Rat helmets. I have 10 Wave 7 Swamp Rats and they all have black above the goggles and my 13 single pack Rats have that exact helmet with the yellow. Maybe a mix-up or something, but that is where the helmets with yellow come from.

Ok I opened two, both with the Ninja Battles Sticker, and I have one black helmet, and one yellow helmet. Well that complicates matters.

Well, in the passed two days, I have purchased & opened 10 more packs
giving me a total of eleven Swamp Rats

3 of them with black helmets, 8 of them with yellow...

LOL...I was just coming to post the same thing - I just opened 2 with yellow highlights :(

That gives me 6 black and 2 yellow - anyone want to trade? I want 2 more black helmets...

The amount of these were seeing is leading me to believe we have a change in the production run.

What angle are you looking from? Once they hit the pegs here, it could save me a few bucks if I don't have to buy them all just hoping to get the right variation. ;)

Yes, I did. I took pictures of them still in the package and submitted the pictures to YoJoe - I think they will be posted as a variation on the Swamp Rat page soon. Thanks for pointing it out to us (I, for one, might never have noticed - 'cause you really have to look hard :-)

I have yet to find any and I have 12 rats set up and looked REALLY hard at any I came across on pegs.. will be interesting to see which areas are actually getting them
