I always thought the commercials said "Go Joe!"! Not "Yo Joe!"! I just figured that out when I joined this site! Hahahah! I want him to say go Pikachu though...:(

Actually, "Way to Go, Joe!" was the slogan for the first couple years (1982-83). "Yo Joe" came along about the time the cartoon began.
