Wow. He looks great.

I think the figure design is excellent overall on the sigma six stuff.

Interesting. I certainly won't be getting any of these, but I kind of hope they take off with the kiddies.

Cool design for another B.A.T., but the anime style for people still seems funny to me. I hope the line does great, & I think kids will like it, but it's not quite my thing.

I have to admit, I like the new Sigma 6 figs. Do I want them to replace my 3 3/4 joes? No, but I can see the appeal and why Hasbro believes in the property. If parents can get over the the price point, these should be a big hit with the kiddies (and, to a degree, collectors).

I have too admit these guys look pretty good. I was one of the disbelivers but now ...wow I really like these figures...gonna have to get rid of some of my other toy collections....

I also have to admit I'm starting to like these figures. This CC in particular is very cool looking. And if the cartoon is a good as everyone from the con said it looked, I'm sure it will do well. Although as stated before, the price is a little too steep for one figure, let alone 8 figures. I'm planning on grabbing a few of these, however.

It looks like a Transformer.
I think that may be an insult to Transformers.

There are some good things about this one but. . . it's ugly. The staff is cool, the colors are great, but the design is just plain awful. At least, that's how I feel.

And I LIKED the new sculpts. I'm not a purist.

Its ok but with that new anime style he looks like a termite. Especially that pincher thing on his face.

I like the overall look of the S6 line. The only thing keeping me from being completely convince to buy them is the price tag.

i think i know why Sigma 6 will appeal towards kids.
because it's the first action figure for kids sculpted by mentally handicapped kids

It looks like Cobra Commander couldn't decide on wearing his helmet or his hood, but then split the difference.

I guess Cobra's new strategy is to make the Joes fall down laughing, so that they may be easily killed.

Creative combo w/the mask and hood there.

Overall, I kinda like it.

However. . .

:holds up new S6CC to Vader Force Battler:

Anyone still wanna argue the point I made earlier?

Didn't think so.

Think that's a "battle damage" cobra symbol plate on the chest? Sort of like that He-man and Skeletor from around '85--hit the plate, it spins and "reveals" battle damage. Knowwhatimean?

Yeah um........when did cobra commander become an alley viper?

VERY observant, Ice! It'd be cool if that were the case. IMO, that would be one sweet play feature. I'd love to see that on 3&3/4" vehicles and whatnot.

I used to play with those "battle damage" play-features on all the '80s Mattel toys for hours on end. . .and I wasn't even afan of He-Man or Hot Wheels!

I'm suddenly jonesin' to go on ebay and bid on a Battle Armor He-Man. :D

OK, that is more than a little too mean spirited.

I think we can all express ourselves better than that.

Its cool how GI Joe gets a new cartoon and all that, but I would've really appreciate some compatibility. Anime style 3 3/4 would've rocked for me. Cartoonish versions of our heroes is a neat idea, its just the size that bugs me and I'm both a 3 3/4 AND a 12in collector.

This new Sigma 6 Cobra Commander looks like that 3 3/4 inch CC we got a peek of on ebay a month or so back:

and

Think maybe Hasbro will give us 3 3/4 inch versions of their Sigma 6 figures?

That’s my opinion of the figure, I think I expressed myself fine.

I’m not a 3 year old, I know what I like and what I don’t, and I think the design of that figure lends itself to looking mentally handicapped.

the mods on this board won't let me be as mean spirited as I want too be.

... yeah, I admit that they look cool. Hopefully they stay that cool for all those who choose to collect the line. I have ZERO interest in Sigma Six, but I can still appreciate the detail and admittedly anime-style sculpting that's goin' into it.
Did anyone else notice that CC has a 'Battle Armor Skeletor' -like chest plate?

Maybe they DO carpool together...

Also, you are quite generous with a year eh, Grasshopper? 6 months...MAYBE 6 1/2 :D

Obiwanjacoby

I wanna see the toon sooo bad! The model sheets of the characters look really good. I hope they don't "dumb down" this show for the kids though. At least keep the plots on the same level as "The Batman" and the like.

Can't wait.

If the cartoon as the same story level as the Batman, then I'll be very happy. Those model sheets were indeed pretty cool. Though Kamakura looks like the Ninja James Bond jr figure from the early 90's
