Who is the best version of Duke so far?

I like the 2000/01 repaint of the '92 Duke. At the time, the olive drab wasn't overdone and finally offered a non desert Duke mold that didn't have the stupid V1 head. :) No Duke figure has come along to move that out of the top spot. However, I also really like the unproduced Wal Mart exclusive Duke from 2003. That version has the good coloring and mold of the 2000/01 figure but also blonde hair. Had it been released, it would be my favorite "official" ;) Duke.

I'd agree squarely with you on that...and I think v3 was the best though.

Talking about DUKE, I have a question about the v1: I have a Duke v1 with cuffed sleeves, but I donīt think he is a Japanese version... Does anybody know another difference between the American Duke with cuffed sleeves and the Japanese one? Maybe collour difference? Plastic quality?

My Duke is dated "1983" and in the back is "1982-1983" "Made in Hong Kong"... But his Helmet is with holes... So thats why I donīt know if he is Japanese or not, because with holes is the versions after mail-in...

V21. I love that Duke.

Well, sorta. The Comics Green colour for his pants, I'm not exactly fond of. I understand it was done to replicate the colour of the comics--and that's awesome. But it kinda stands out, y'know.

Then again, Mirage V2 is over there wearing almost the exact same green, so.

I'm actually going to vote v1 here. I don't know why, but that will always be Duke, and I actually like the head, so...

V1 is the best followed by V3. The comic pack Duke (much like the comic pack Flint) is trash.

I dunno, I'm curious. I always like to hear different points of view.

I voted V8, because imo, Hawk should have remained blond, and Duke should have had brown hair, the first Duke I owned was Tiger Force with brown hair. I also like the jungle camo more, but the accessories are lacking.

I kind of like the comic pack Duke's head. Now if they could have used the entire original body.

Version 4 is by far the best version of Duke.

I vote for the version 8 duke with the jungle camo. I just love this figure and gave it blonde hair instead of brown.
