The massive, nearly 800 pixil wide Corps Bride ad that is on every single YoJoe web site page (not forums) like here: http://www.yojoe.com/toys/

That thing is so distracting and throws off of the design of the site and makes it look like they are slowly trying to just put random ads in ever spare piece of white spot... there.... is........ Oh. Maybe that is there idea.

Just use Firefox as your default browser (which you should), edit your userContent.css file and you won't see any of those annoying ads.

Or, with Firefox, get the extention called adblock, and create a filter for http://ads.figures.com/*

That gets rid of all the ads on the right side of the screen except the red cross one (which doesn't bother me at all). Then make custom filters for any straggler ads that you don't like. Some of the ads I don't mind because I actually like the stores, but since I already know whether or not I'm going to shop at these places, I don't feel like waiting for those ads to load every time I open a page on this site.

That's what I do. I've had every sponsor blocked on YoJoe for longer than I can remember and it's the only site that I've even had a need to do that on. Hey, Action Online, here's a hint: Banners & ads on one page = ok, banners on EVERY page = really frikken annoying. Not to mention how much it slows down the entire site. When the ads load ten times as faster than the site content you've got a problem.

When the ads load ten times as faster than the site content you've got a problem.

That's been my biggest problem I've had when browsing YoJoe. When I'm really hunting the action figure archives for something, it's such a pain to have to wait that extra few seconds for the ads to load before the page will scroll down to where I was before if I hit the back button on my browser. Now I no longer have to worry about it. Plus those animated gif's were freaking annoying. If I haven't shopped at one of those stores in the last two years or so that I've been coming here, chances are I'm not going to...
