I just got an extra Mobat in the mail today and it turns out it's the earlier version with the solid tank treads. I also noticed another difference between the two types of Mobats - the top turret gun.

Can anyone confirm that the earlier version was open the whole length of the underside and that the later version has a much smaller "hole" type opening.

I"ll have to check my two Mobats to compare them for this. Thanks for the info:)
