Reason I ask is if I let a session sit for a while, I have to keep logging back in.

Not that I know of - I stay logged on for months at a time it seems.

I "session time out" at work
but i remain logged in at home all the time

i think you have to check the REMEMBER ME box
or it WILL time you out after like 10mins or so of inactivity... maybe?

Whoa it just timed me out too! Taking donsbabyboo's advice and clicking "remember me."

Weird thing to happen though.
