Just wondering how rare the 12" Brazilian Joes are like Falcon?

VERY rare if you're looking for ORIGINAL dolls with the original clothes and accessories, with no Max Steel parts on them. You can find some at Mercado Livre, but these are mostly restored dolls with reproduction boxes. There is one in there right now going for about USD220.

I had a lot of Falcon toys back when I was a kid, and some time ago I found some stuff in my house's attic. The rubber joints had dissolved over time so I basically had a bunch of parts, a jeep and a little trailer. I found out about a guy who collects Falcon and had a nice deal with him: he took all the parts I found, assembled/restored 2 dolls (with the original clothes I still have) and he kept the remaining parts for himself. So I have 2 Falcons today, one of which dates way back to 1978!

It is funny how "cheap" they look standing near to my bbi U-2 pilot anyways!

Everything Falcon-related in Mercado Livre usually goes for a very expensive price. Lots of people discovered that and, like Fabio, went to their attics to found just a lot of loose parts. But they sell them anyway... Seriously, you can buy a complete Comandos em Ação figure with the price they ask for half a leg of Falcon :D Now imagine the price they ask for a complete Torak, Condor or even a Roboy... Not to mention the vehicles...

Felipe's site, Loucoporbonecos, is indeed a really cool site! It helped me out a great deal years ago when I started researching and collecting vintage Falcon 12" figures! And the customs are a lot of fun! Corredor X, thanks for posting the link for everyone!

Another site that is really great - and is very accurate (for those of us who are trying to piece together sets :-) is Luciano's site Falcon1175. Luciano has meticulously assembled Falcon figures and accessory sets for people to use as a reliable reference. When comparing the pictures on the Falcon1175 site with pictures of the same sets in vintage Estrela catalogs, the one-to-one correspondence is remarkable! Although there is an occasional omission (like the masks that go with the Futurista black and red jumpsuit set), Luciano's site is dream come true!

Getting vintage 12" Falcon figures complete and in good condition is a real challenge (MOC and MIB - unbelievably difficult)- but well worth it! Many of the sets add a wonderful twist to vintage GI Joe Adventure Team sets...

The modern 12" Falcon figures from the 1990's, are, of course, easier to find - but even they are becoming scarce. The one that took me the longest to find (2 years of looking) was the MIB Storm Shadow version figure.
