Yep...it was announced about a month or so ago.

I just heard a week or two ago though that Peter Jackson would like Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy, Blade II) to direct. Now that would be awesome!

The only catch is that if Peter Jackson is willing to wait for Guillermo if Hellboy 2 goes into production. Del Toro has that on his priority list of projects.

Time will have to tell.

Just the thought of sitting in a darkened movie theater and hearing that theme music hit.......WOW.

Never played Halo, myself. I only play PC games. However, a Hellboy II movie has me stoked! I really liked the first one. I would love to have an action figure of that nazi assassin dude for some hardcore cobra troopers! :D
