the 1992 DEF Shockwave didn't come with a purple launcher, unless you're talking about the one that came with Mutt.

The purple launcher I am referring to is the one shown in Desimones book. I know I have only seen yellow ones and have never taken the time to fully investigate why his book has a purple one. Perhaps it is a prototype and I should take it off my list. If anyone knows please let me know.

When I was about 13 years old I had a Def Shockwave w/ a bluish purple launcher. I'm certain of that. It didnt match Shockwaves color it certainly had a good bit of purple to it. So I'm certain they exist

Wow. I read in yojoe's archives that originally the 1992 Shockwave was supposed to be released with Mutt and Junkyard's blue net launcher. The "purple or blue" tank launcher was advertised on television, but I doubt too many of these were actually released. You'd be lucky enough if you can find one anywhere, whether it's on ebay or here. However, if you want Mutt and Junkyard's net launcher, you can think of it as Shockwave's launcher, since it was intended for Shockwave anyway.
