Wow, I just got through watching a Sigma 6 cartoon. I must say Tunnel Rat was a likeable character in GI Joe the movie and he was cool in the Valor vs. Venom movie, but I don't think I've ever found a Joe more annoying than the Sigma 6 version of Tunnel Rat. Any other characters you feel have been ruined by Sigma 6.

Tunnel Rat is the worst, but at least his action figure makes up for his cartoon persona. The Sigma 6 figure just looks like that line's version of the classic Tunnel Rat, as opposed the idiot from the cartoon.

Yeah, tunnel rat was one of my favorite's growing up but the way they used him on 6 made me hate the cartoon. What's up with Sankes needing armor to defeat Storm Shadow. I think quite a few of the characters are a bad turn from what they were. Look at the totally dude Beach Head it's like the people doing these shows have no idea of the past cartoons and comics. I have the figures but the cartoon sucks and my nephews think so as well. I have tried to get them to watch it but it bores them but they play with the figures now, go figure

The "Vegas Vacation" episode (as I call it) was definitely over the top. I thought he was bearable on the previous episodes when he was limited to one-liners. But when the episode revolves around him... forget it.

He is much better when he's paired with Heavy Duty. The two of them remind me of Bazooka and Alpine.

Even worse than all of the stupid jokes, in one of those S6 episodes, they call him "T-RAT" - just like "J.Lo" or "K-Fed". That's totally stupid.

Yeah, it's pretty bad how the characters are in Sigma 6, especially with Tunnel Rat. No offense to anyone that likes this series, but I really hope they wrap this up and release something new that's true to the classic cartoon. *sigh*

I think that, as far as the figures go, there really isn't anything bad that can be said about them. Sure, some people may not like the style that they're done in, but that's just a personal choice. However, as a whole, the Sigma 6 figures are pretty good.

The cartoon, on the other hand, is just plain awful. Hasbro seems to have the same problem with Transformers too. Each new series has had decent toys, though I don't buy them, but a very lousy cartoon to go with them.

Now, I haven't bought any Sigma 6 figures either, but that's only because I collect other things as well and I can't buy everything.

I can tell you that as a collector of joes that in my opinion. every retool of the first fomula has been a joke figure wise. with that being said if I could be six years old again the sigma 6 storm shadow would be by far, one of my favorite toys.

I do feel that the cartoon is pretty lame but most of us are in the 20-50+ age range so what would you expect Robotech...Think about it, have any of you ever watched the power rangers. Bad toys, bad show, good idea; for kids. But do any of you remember the nightmare of trying to find these toys for christmas gifts:mad: .

So I guess the "pros" know better than we do. Sadly though G.I. Joe will probably never again have another hayday. We can either except what we get, make our own, or complain until we are blue in the face:confused: (get it HA HA)
As for me, I hope G.I. Joe is around for my kids to play with....only time will tell

I keep watching the show because there are some okay episodes and it's still a new show. Yet at the same time I get the same feeling I do when I use to watch Jerry springer The "I really should be doing something to better mankind or at least watch something else" Feeling.

What I didn't like about the vacation episode was the whole I need a bug so bad I can't wait for the coast to be clear or how Tunnel Rat was fraking out about how he was staying on Vacation no matter what. It was just so "unrealistic"

I know they are doing what the "in" thing is. I just hope they did some testing to show that kids liked this show better than Spy troops or V vs V. One reason I like Gi joe is unlike anything out there.

OK does that make me wierd, I can handle the Power Ranger show I even like the movie:D , I can watch it when my nephews watch it no problem. I believe they just tried to put something together too quickly to sell the toys without putting much thought into who was producing the garbage. I bet if you had to take a poll of the people that bought Sigma 6 figures 78% would say they don't watch the cartoon
