Okay, when I decided to add the basic DUKE to my Sigma Six collection, I made it a point to find one of the paler-skinned versions. I did this for two reasons. One: I thought the figure looked more accurate to the cartoon, and just looked better in general. Two: That ridiculous unshaven look they've given Duke REALLY shows up on the "tanner" version.

Now, I recall reading, either in here or another Joe-based board, that some of the paler-skinned Duke's have some loose articulation points, and, sure enough, mine is fairly loose in the mid-torso, something that doesn't seem to be a problem with the other Joes.

So here's my question -- what's this like with the "tanner" Dukes? Because I saw one today at Wal-Mart where that "unshaven" spray is pretty unnoticeable. I'd be prepared to pick one up if it meant a good chance of tighter articulation.

Mine is nice and tight, personally, I think the "loose joints to pale duke" thing is likely an exaggeration from a few that did have the issue.
