They rescaled the rhino chopter and the r.o.c.c in 2.5" for the new cartoon. I can not wait to get these.

The opened out ROCC looks the same (it doesn't help that they haven't provided a scale reference point) but the box confirms it. Thats a 2.5in line box with a 2.5in figure in the top right hand corner.

Man, they are really going to town with this 2.5in line, aren't they?

What I really want to know is whether or not 3.75 figs can believable fit into these vehicles.

Nope, the 3 3/4" figs will not fit into any of the 2.5" vehicles of the new toy line.:(

Here is my proof from the toy fair page on another joe site.

Well that's no good. I thought that would be my waning enthusiasm's saving grace.:(

The R.O.C.C. is a repackaged DTC version - same 3-3/4" scale. The RHINO copter is retooled inside to fit the 2.5" figures.

How do you know its the same as the 3 - 3/4" one?

Based on photos, the details and deco are the same compared to the 3 3/4" version of the ROCC. However, that may not be the final case on the released toy.

If it is the same, might as well get the 3 3/4" released version to get the Long Range figure. The best thing about the Sigma Six version is the box art.

At least that's my opinion. I think they used the 3 3/4 one as a fill in. the box art and the 2.5 are done but the ROCC itself isn't (IMHO).

What I'd like to see happen is the Dragonhawk Night Ops Vamk rescaled to 3 3/4. Especially the Dragonhawk. Don't it look like a Hunter Killer from the Terminator franchise?

I hope after the convention we will know if the r.o.c.c. is a 3 3/4" toy or retooled 2.5" toy. I guess we all have to wait and see.

There is already a ROCC in 3-3/4" scale

I dont think it would make sense to re-release it
its most likely a 2.5"

Well, if it was a slow mover from the DTC line (most likely due to it's high price), I can easily see Hasbro repackaging it to sell in stores as a S6 toy. That would also explain why the box is solid (like the DTC one) and doesn't have the big windows that Joe vehicles sold on store shelves have generally had in the past few years.

here's why it would make sense

1. the 3 3.4 rocc is more in scale overall size wise to the 2.5 figs
2. lots of 3 3.4 roccs were unsold and can simply be repackaged and sold at retail hopefully at full price under the sigma banner
3. re molding an already existing vehicle is a waste of money

I hope customizing these Sigma 6 aircraft and choppers to fit our size Joes wont be too hard. Like simply just removing the seat by unscrewing it or something easy like that. :)
