I found a bunch today at TRU, the $8 and $10 ones. First time i had seen them, and I had not seen anyone post about it. I picked up the mantis mech with Destro out of loyalty to destro, I think the Mech's gonna end up a custom BAT later though.

Yup I saw them at my TRU yesterday. Does anyone know if these would show up in Target?

I would expect so at some point. Target is about to reset their toy aisles so they will most likely appear after that.

If last year was any indication (I was hawking them for WEEKS for Transformers Cybertron), the reset won't be done until around July 30.

Now, some stores will be done sooner than others (I think the volume and speed in which they have to clearance are factors), and some stores might even already getting product (most already have Cybertron Primus, though not all will have him out due to shelf space).

If I had DPCI codes, you could check the backrooms, but I've yet to find such codes for Sigma Six

Thanks for the warning. Honestly, while I may have developed a liking for the 8" figures, this 2.5" line leaves me unimpressed. It's a vehicle line. I've always emphasized figures, and the figures in this line leave me cold.

It's supposedly tested well, so I suppose it'll do well, but I remain concerned about splitting the Sigma 6 line barely a year after its introduction along two such drastically different formats.

I concede the point that doing larger-type vehicles of this type for the 8" figures would not be feasible in today's market, but since I'm not all that interested in the vehicles, it is my sincere hope that the 8" line does not suffer as a result of an emphasis on the 2.5" product, especially not after some of the new characters shown at the Joe Convention.

Hasbro was very serious about this 2.5" line at the roundtable. They said multiple times that the kid tests showed they liked it the best. They must have because Hasbro went all out on this line will all the stuff they had at the convention. It still makes little sense to me to have an 8" line to focus on the figures and a 2.5" line to focus on the vehicles when the 3-3/4" line did both of them very well for 24 years. I am a huge vehicle collector but I won't be getting any of this line because I also like the figures. And the 2.5" are pretty bad IMO. You have 2 kinds, 1 has limited articulation so it can go in vehicles. The others are fixed in action poses and have no arcticulation. Doesn't that just make them statues? Seems like it to me.

While some of the vehicles could possibly be modified to accomodate a 3-3/4" figure, I'm not going to spend the money on it. I do like the Dragonhawk but I will wait and see if Hasbro modifies it themselves for 3-3/4". They said at the roundtable it was possible to do because all it would take is creating a new seat for the cockpit. I really do hope they do well with this new line because it they don't, I feel it will all go away.

I think these match up perfectly with the Marvel Showdown figures as well as far as size.

Marvel Superhero Showdown figures run 3.5-4"

GI Joe figures run 3.75 (at least the popular version on this board)

Sigma Six Mission Scale products are scaled to fit a 2.5" figure (and images from Toy fair show even a RAH figure is FAR too large for the vehicles)

THEREFORE...Mission Scale products WILL NOT fit with Marvel SHowdown figures

Kid testing. Kid testing gave He-Man that ugly head sculpt in the recent He-Man line. Kid testing made the Sharc a flying submarine. Kids are dumb. :p

I saw the pictures the toys carded (or boxed) and saw that they come with four different figures but it looked like they were all PVC sort of figures. I don't get-part of what made GI Joe great was the poseability of the figures. With such instances as the the amount of poseability of both Sigma 6 and Marvel Legends Series-WHY would Hasbro take so many steps backwards and offer ANY figure with ANY limited poseability? I don't know

All I want to know is:

Can I use the weapons on the 2.5" Vamp to augment a ROOC?

And also: Cause some one at Hasbro had it in for the 3" 3/4 joe.

I think you can. The weapons on the Dragonhawk do use the same size port so it makes sense that the other vehicles would as well.

I saw some of them at TRU today. I think they are pretty good, especially for $10. I was considering buying on of them, the Night Ops VAMP, but they didn't have the toy.
