They are poseable to a point. yes on two figures the accessories comes off, but the rest has them molded on.

Saw these yesterday...and I thought the poseability of these figures was horrible. It looked like the Snake Eyes that came with the bike was permanently positioned in that bike riding pose. Actually, it looked as if the figures had no joints at all, except around the waist. I think this severely cuts down on a kids ability to play with these figures. I was going to pick a couple of items up, but now...absolutely NOT...

Its an amazing waste of good money and plastic on these new joes. Its a shame really. This format didn't work for play along toys and its not working for the star wars unleashed line of small figures and it will fail here. I guess its better that g.i.joe go away for while.

I bought the Cobra Mantis Mech the other night and finally got around to opening it last night. Personally, I think it's a great little toy and kudos to Hasbro for making it so versatile. Lots of playability, beautiful packaging (and yes, you can unassemble the Mech and fit it back into the box easily) and a decent price point for a toy it's size.

I won't be buying many of these smaller S6 toys (probably get the Firebat and call it there), but it's just another version of the Joes we all know and love. Sure, it may not last more than a year...but that doesn't mean it doesn't belong on the shelves now.

What I mean by they are pose-able to a point.
Most of them waist, head, elbow, shoulders, and upper leg joints.
There is only two that has no joints, but has the waist one, and they are both Snake Eyes on the cycle.

Hasbro said "That its not about the 2.5" figures, but its about the vehicles and the figures are just a bonus".

Hasbro said at one of the con's "Its possible that 2007 will bring a theme to the 2.5" line and tie most of the toys into that theme. Hasbro will likely continue to balance articulated figures with statue-like motion figures, but designs should be getting more exciting and asthetically pleasing. Just like later Sigma 6 8" figures are worlds better sculpt-wise than the first ones, they will continue to learn from their efforts with the smaller scale and make similar improvements. Already the difference between Waves 1 & 2 demonstrates a high upward trend of quality".

I just bought the Nightblade set at Toys rus. Why or what is the word before the word sword on the Strom Shadow description, for some reason it has been blacked out w/ a marker.. The same has been done just below that in front of the word whipstar. I thought maybe this was something Toys rus did, but when I opened it the paperwork inside has had the same words blacked out. Anyone know why or what, lmk. Thanks.

I think the word that is blacked out on both Snake Eyes and Storm Shodow is magnetic. I could be wrong and why they did this is to keep people guessing at what the word is. If I remember right they did the same thing to a 3 3/4" file card at one time to hide information about that character history.

I finally saw the 2.5" line at TRU today. It looked like cheap junk to me. The figures are ridiculous. And it looked like neither the 8" or the 2.5" line had been touched by kids. Hasbro really stepped in it this time.
