Joseph Barbera, 1 half of the legendary Hanna-Barbera cartoon dynasty, died of natural causes on Monday Dec. 18th 2006 at his home in California. He was 95.

A heartfelt "Yabba Dabba Doo" my friend... :( Saturday morning forever.

Sad to see him go, he was responsible for some of my favorite cartoons of all time.

But then again he did have a good long run, I mean WOW  95 that’s a heck’uv’a good long life - I so don’t expect to make it nearly that long myself – I think I’m too rough on myself :o

I really can’t imagine where American animation, and cartoons in this country would be with out Hanna & Barbera… They were both Icons. What a awsome legacy they both left behind!

Those were the only cartoons in my opinion! The shows today are horrible.

What an amazing team. Thank God for DVD's because we can all still enjoy a lot of what these two made famous. Rest in peace and thanks for the memories.
