Wow - Gerald Ford is the first president I remember. Wasn't really old enough to remember Nixon. Even as a kid I got the impression he was a good guy.

President Ford was a class act all around. A funny tidbit is that people perceived him to be clumsy because he slipped once getting off a plane, but he was actually very athletic. He turned down going pro in football to go to law school.
