I just added the 007 volumes 1 to 4 , the Indiana Jones Trilogy , Alien quadrilogy and the Dirty harry series to my collection and I must say I am quite glad to have these. I now have about 600 movies. I refuse to add just any movie to my collection. I haven't watch a number of these movies in a long time though. Whats the size of your collection.

I think I'm around 300, but I never watch any of them. I don't even know why we buy them, aside from a few, we watch them once and that's it.

couple 100 I guess. I never watch them either besides a few of my favorites...unless someone new comes over that wants to see something. We use Netflix. We are busy watching all the Sopranos episodes now.

I haven't counted but I have a little over 4 3' long shelves full of DVDs. I once figured out I have enough Cartoon DVD sets that I can host a 4 1/2 hour long cartoon block every Saturday for 13 weeks before running a rerun (Course that was before I got Batman Beyond season 3 :) )

I don't have many.. infact I could probably tell you the DVD's I own off the top of my head.. but I do watch them at least once a year.. I just wouldnt have a collection of DVDs of something and never watch them..

Finally I have series 2 & 3 of Will & Grace :D

At last count I had 785, that was over a year ago I slowed down my dvd buying but I have still bought/ been gifted around 50 or so more. I watch movies all the time when Im not in school. It is a serious addiction I need to look into.

I actually created an excel sheet of them so I could keep track of what I had and who I loaned what out too.

I'm around 400-425 including boxed sets, tv seasons, anime, etc.

But recently, I've bought nearly a dozen and have yet to watch them due to my schedule. But some time soon, I'll get to them.

I have around some 500ish...I just buy them and eventually watch them. I just recently saw Crash. I know Im way behind.

Around 100...the majority are boxed sets. Everytime I take a look at my dvds, all I think is: 'Wow, all that money wasted'. I think I've watched 1/3 of the ones I own. I rarely pay over $10 for a dvd and most of my boxed sets were free from Best Buy gift cards.

We do not have cable, so we watch a lot of movies. Don't really know why we don't have cable, but I have not had it for 7 years and don't really miss it.

All of my movies were bought. I usually buy them used, so I don't pay more than $3 a piece. Which I guess in the bigger scheme of things, is quite a bit of money even at 600 DVDS that is $1800!!! LOL.... Never thought of it that way! And at $10 a piece, that would be $6,000??? I might have to stop buying them!

Well, I own probably around 900 or so but we haven't finished putting them in the computer archive yet. None are burnt about 70% were bought as they came out or at the store, all the rest were bought used. I know I have used more than 3000 dollars buying them I'm sure if you figure some were twenty or more a piece. I watch them all and have Dish, I love movies and watch them for the story but also to see the acting, watch the camera angles and such. I love to see them over and over catching new nuances that I missed another time around. Just chimin in with my two cents:D

I'd say mine is around just over 200 which is made up of movies, t.v. shows and a few concerts and music video collections on dvd. But now with the whole hd dvd scene now, movies are gonna get a little bit more pricier...
