Some great stuff there.
The guys obviously spent a lot of time and care getting his gear.
Hes made some great choices with his sculpts and equipment.
However, I have to disagree with your implication that 1/6 scale customisers are better that 3 3/4 scale customisers.
All they do is scour the market for appropriate parts- of which there are a lot, as its far easier to make stuff in a larger scale.
There is some skill in sewing/gluing uniforms, but nowhere near the level 3 3/4 customisers do it to.
For example, check these two guys work here (http://www.joecustoms.com/userops/profile.php?uid=1763) and here. (http://www.geocities.com/moonbaum/home), especially the second guy- Kowalski.
Thats why Marauder John is such a Godscend to us customisers- he makes 1/6 type weapons/accessories in the smaller scale.
Still- I dont want to lessen the first guys work and commitment.
He deserves a lot of praise.

Maybe I should have chosen the title of the post a little better... ah well.

I don't think the 1/6 scale customizers are better at customizing. I just think its different and it looks great. They aren't really comparitable because the work is almost totally different. Joe customizers have to actually work with molding plastic and more extensive painting.

Its almost like comparing a auto body work customizer to say a a wall mural painter. They both deserve recognition. I just wanted to show the 1/18 guys pics of another realm in figure customizing. ;)

I am way impressed, makes me think about starting to collect & customize some 1/6 stuff. But I'm not sure i could ever make stuff that looked that good. WOW.

Too true- my bad.
I just goes to show the old cliche about assumptions (they make an *** of u and me) is true.
