Wow - I saw a sign here in Vegas that the local crappy service CompUSA was closing, so I waited for the percentage discounts to climb before stopping in. I asked one of the salespeople if it was local or company wide, and he told me they closed about half of their stores! I had absolutely no idea, and I can't really find any good news articles on it.

But if you need peripherals, cables, media, and even store fixtures, I'd suggest hightailing it down to your local store if they're closing! Ours close completely in a week. For some of you higher-end display case types, they're selling some of those too.
