My son is a big transformer nut. I'm not really though I like the cartoon and think it was easily the best of the 80's action adventure cartoons (yes, dare I say it, better than the Joes).

So does anyone see Soundwave as obsolete these days?? Would he get recycled?? I do have the right one correct- the one who is a cassette playing walkman?? Wouldn't he be an MP3 player or something now? And what about the tapes like Ravage and those guys?

Here is a case where we see our action figures as "timeless" or "Ageless" kind of existing in a vacuum but Soundwave kind of breaks that mold a bit.

Thoughts??

I think Soundwave and his cassettes would recieve an upgrade. They are actually making a real mp3 player Soundwave and Rumble & Frenzy Headphones over in Japan.

Just a funny thought... each of the tapes as an iPod Shuffle...

Yikes! $95!! I want one, but not that much. I paid less than that for my real MP3 player.
