Were the guns in dark or light blue and/or combination of the two? Also was it the Crimson guard, Cobra officer and Recondo guns?

They were:

Airborne's M16-c5
Grunt's M16-a1
Snow Job's L-88 (laser rifle, the one seen often in the cartoon)
all in Cobra blue I believe...

Yeah, dark blue. The rifle range had all "good guy" guns.

The light blue Crimson Guard rifle is from the 1986 Cobra battle gear set, along with light blue SVD sniper rifle from Cobra trooper.

Dark blue Cobra Officer Ak-47 and the dark blue trooper SVD rifle were from the 1983 battle gear/accessory pack.

Recondo's gun was never released in blue in the USA, as far as I know. The accessory pack version of it is a khaki color.
