I was just thinking about how fast we have gotten wave 1-3. Assumming Hasbro has done this intentially, this seems to be a stroke of genius.

By getting this hot product out in mid October, they are ensuring that the collector surge for 1-3 will be over by the beginning of December, leaving an ample supply of Wave 1-3 for parents during Christmas shopping.

Continuing this line of thinking, Hasbro will drop waves 4-5 by December, just in time for the collector hunt.

If this is the case...then WOW, that's great product placement and disbursement. I often wondered why other companies like Toy Biz would schedule a hot new shipment or assortment during the month of December, often leaving very little potential for the Christmas market because all the collectors have bought up the initial delivery. By getting it out a month earlier with a quick follow up shipment, companies can capitalize on both the collector and Christmas market.

Now whomever is in charge of their website, that's another question....Brand New Wave 2 and Marvel Legends Fantastic Four listed during a the time when a coupon for 25% off and free shipping is valid. :confused: :D
