Merry Christmas all, in the spirit of Christmas I want to offer one very lucky person the chance to own one of my Lego GIJOE/Cobra Custom minifigures. Here's the link so you can see them.

Ok so the winner will get his/her choice of either a Custom Storm Shadow or Firefly minifig shipped.

So here are the rules:

If you're going to take a wild guess then limit it to one.

No Cheating, enough said.

Ok so this shouldn't be that easy, but some of you are very creative.

Back in 1985 I lived in Mannheim Germany, Benjamin Franklin Village, to be exact. There was only one Toy shop around. It's where I bought all of my 1984, 1985, and 1986 GI Joe's. The store was located around military housing close to Coleman Barracks.

The question: What is/was the name of the toy store?

Good Luck!!

Are you gonna give any hints at all?

This question may be too difficult for any of us to answer...

I know it's a fairly hard question to answer considering most of you may never have been to Germany, never the less, Mannheim, or this specific place. The answer is out there (I promise).... So I'll give you 3 hints,

#1) it's not a PX, TRU, or KB
#2) "Germany is a land of wonderful things, a long history rich in culture. Strangly, an American toy found here is becomming torture.
#3) 4 vier - der vierte (fourth) - viertel-, das Viertel (one-fourth, quarter)

That's all the hints....

LMAO, sorry no it's not Woolworths, oldschooltoys, or tons of toys. Good guess guys.

I've changed my way of thinking on this one. Go ahead and guess as much as you'd like, maybe that would make it easier, just REMEMBER my hints.

We have a winner folks, yes Toyland is correct, to confirm this if you look in the hints the number 4, land and toy are the fourth word in my rambling 2 sentences. Congrats bro PM me your address with the figure you wanted and I'll send it right out.

I won, woohoo. I'm dancing:eek:

This is how I knew. One born in Germany ( I'm an army brat). Two my joes were found mostly in Ft. Irwin Ca around 84-85 and I went to this grey hole in the wall toy store which looked the same as the pizza place, furniture place and a couple other type places. The only difference was there was a little sign hanging on the post that said Toyland. So that is what I guessed. That and I recall going into a Toyland when we were in a store getting stuff like linens but the Toys were like in a back room and it had a huge Toyland sign across the top and when you went in it had a 8 ft Paddington. Ah childhood memories
