I didn't find a thread on this so I decided to start one.

If you could be a member of GI Joe or Cobra who would you be and why?

Me I would probably be Mainframe. I was in the Marines and I was a computer geek in the Corps. My second choice would be Dial Tone. I had two MOS' one computer and the other communications. So I had to carry (for a little while) a radio on my back.

I would probably be Mainframe as well for pretty much the same reason. I was aviation ordnance then and am a computer geek in the real world now.

I would want to be Roadblock. I like big guns and I can cook.

I'd have to say Cutter, as I was in the Coast Guard, and he's all we got on the Joe team! But like the above posters, Mainframe is probably closest to what I do now.... Are we a bunch of geeks, or what!:D

I beg to differ, as my Steel Brigade figure was clearly chosen to be Coast Guard :-)

'Cause I'm a young cocky hot-shot who can't follow orders, abandons his post, and is hooked on drugs

Sadly, I would have been the guy that got cut from the team.

I always related to Shipwreck. He has that aggressive side.

As a child in my Joe fantasies I was always Destro. I dreamed of living a luxurious lifestyle around the world, developing new and better weapons of destruction, and inciting war where it did not exist.

As an adult, my personality is probably closest to Doc, the way he's portrayed in the comics. The COBRA I'm most like is probably the comic Dr. Mindbender.

"Man, Whoever heard of being shot down by salad"

Best line of the whole movie.;)
