With the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, I realized how out of the loop I am with what games are coming out. I didn't know the new GTA was coming out until last week. As soon as I get a chance I will probably pick it up. I am also really looking forward to Empire: Total War and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, both for the computer.
I have played every game in the Total War series so ETW is a must buy. There are a few things I hope they do/fix from the previous games however. I have noticed a downward trend with each release in the intelligents of the AI. The AI in M2TW is terrible. I am also praying for multiplayer campaign. I would not get any greater joy than to play an extended campaign against my friends.
WAR is also another must buy. I have played Warhammer Fantasy my whole life and I am a lover of MMOs, s combine the two and you have a perfect game. I have been following the production of this game very closely. It has a lot of very cool features including that there is an overall goal for every player in the world to achieve.

God of War III? You mean God of War Chains of Olympus for PSP or are they making another GOW?

I thought there was one scheduled for the PS3 as well? I could be wrong.
Though Chains was a great game as well.

it's being made by Bethesda Softworks - the masterminds behind Morrowind and Oblivion - so I ask how can it not totally freaking rock the world?

The only other game I plan on buying this year is "StarWars force unleashed".

RED ALERT 3 - My all time favorite franchise of games

Red Alert 3, Mercenaries 2 and Ghostbusters.

I'm looking forward to Dawn of War II.

Been playing the Soulstorm upgrade currently and having a blast.

Forgot about mercs 2, that is a definat buy as well. Games like starcraft and halo wars dont interest me. I used to be a huge RTS fan, but not anymore, don't really know why. I prefer shooters and turn-based strategy.

I'm looking forward to Resident Evil 5. Fable 2 as well, hopefully it's a little longer than numero uno.

The new Battlefield game looks great and I am anticipating Unreal Tournament for 360.

And of course any of the guitar hero games. I love those.
