I seen it mentioned here numerous times that a Leatherneck is coming with an Awe Striker, but when did they announce it and was anything else announced along with him?

Nothing "officially". Word was going around at JoeCon about it though. I'm sure we'll get "official" word at SDCC on Thursday or Friday.

Diamond's Previews magazine seems to have announced it today.

Cobra Flint is exactly what I expected. The Firebat and AVAC is a must (multiples). The red face BAT is much more appealing to me than the other one. I'll pick up this Cobra Commander for ceremonial purposes.
And now the AWE w/ Leatherneck. WHY OH WHY is Leatherneck in his Mission Brazil colors!?:mad: And I would like to have seen the AWE in green because I never saw the Target one in stores. I was so looking forward to this, and now I'm not even going to pick it up.:mad:

I think the Awe Striker looks great. Probably the best version of it that I've seen. And the Brazilian Mission Leatherneck is something that I didn't think Hasbro would be clever enough to do.

I like the Flint figure. The colors look really bold. I can see myself doing a headswap on that to make a special Cobra Soldier though.

I wish the 3 3/4" Commando Snake Eyes had a head sculpt like that 12" figure does. They've never improved on the original RAH sculpt.

I like the Firebat with AVAC. That's a must have for me.
