Some new images of the G.I. Joe Arise, Serpentor, Arise! DVD Battlepack have arrived. We have in this set Dusty, Serpentor (in a more accurate toon outfit), Cobra B.A.T. (with a more toon accurate faceplate) and the Skeleton King. This set also includes (like the other DVD Battlepacks) a piece of the M.A.S.S. Device you can build and the Arise, Serpentor, Arise! DVD.

i dont like these dvd packs.

dusty looks terrible in the face, the bat is a bat, serpentor should have had remolded lower legs, and the skeleton is totally useless.

I'm also a bit disappointed in these early Dusty pics. I don't know what it is precisely, but he certainly doesn't look as cool as I would have hoped. I think Serpentor is lame, and this repaint/slight modification of the previously released version doesn't change my opinion. I like the BAT Ok. The Skeleton is really cool, but I would have preferred another, unreleased Joe or Cobra (Mindbender, Sgt. Slaughter, Dial Tone, really anybody).

I am going to enjoy the Skeleton. I have been looking for good figures that go well with regular Joe figures. The new Marvel figures are going to be really good as long as they don't try to package them with a game. I was looking forward to the DC Infinite series because of their close approximation to Joe scale. It is unfortuante that Mattell does not produce good action figures.

I'll be getting this set just for the DVD, Dusty and the BAT.

If anyone wants the Skeleton King I'll be looking to trade it for another open figure as soon as I get it.

Dang, that Skeleton King is a waste! hehe, I would have liked to see Dr. Mindbender or Sgt. Slaughter instead...

They should have ditched the B.A.T. and used this opportunity to make a Dr. Mindbender figure. Otherwise, I like this set.

Hey everybody glad to find a place to talk Joes...
Making an "Arise, Serpentor, Arise" set with out including Dr. Mindbender is ridiculous and the Bat Doesn't make alotta sense either I would've rather seen the monster they created when CC jerked with the formula... remember that big red dude?!

Yes. When we first heard about this set, I thought it would be neat if the "failed experiment" creature were a part of this set. Sgt. Slaughter would have been a nice surprise, since he has a big part in that mini-series. However, Hasbro would need to make a deal with Sgt. Slaughter if they were to make a new figure.

Set 3 of 5...looks OK. Great pics as always :)

Serpentor: Much better than the Serpentor that came with the air chariot. Keeping this version to fly around in his eternal impatience. :)

BAT: Meh...does anyone wanna buy a BAT?

Dusty: Dusty looks great. He'll go great as a passenger in one of my AWE Striker's.

MASS Device piece: Needed, of course.

Skeleton King: Does this even have a purpose? I could see if he was in a coffin and the king was in there...but it's a non-posing piece of blah.

I probably won't buy this as I already have "Arise..." on dvd. and the figures seem like ones I can live without.
