at the panel they said gasp this is a reboot. So Snake Eyes is new to the team in this one. In fact the writer Waren Ellis had no previous experience with the mythos so expect all new ideas.

Isn't Snake Eyes breaking some type of rule/code by executing that Cobra trooper? The trooper was incapacitated.

Yeah! well I'm a Warren Ellis fan (although I do think he should probably be on meds lol), you can expect violent and disturbing takes on the villians especially... however I highly doubt he will replace a Larry or anything.

If you wanna read some Ellis please allow me to recomend "Fell" it is my favorite of his work but he is also the current writer for "Astonishing X-Men".

Regardless I'm stoked for this film.

Falcone, you bring up a great point but I think Snake-eyes is a little more likely to bend the rules of engagement then maybe his more "Heroic Lawful/good" counterparts, like say Duke.

There is no code of conduct regarding terrorists. Plus, GI Joe is now an International team, no longer an American Hero. So they are not constricted by American military codes of conduct.

Plus, he's a ninja.

Great animation footage, albeit violent, still 2009 cannot come sooner. Now you know. :)
