from the late 80's/early 90's. The deal was they had their lips over their mouths with wires in them and you could flip them up and they went from nice looking to angry face.

I had a couple of these when I was younger. The one I remember most was a super hero dog that had a cape. I know it is not pound puppies. For some reason my brother and I started talking about these earlier and we could not remember the name of the line.

I told my brother the name and we discussed and looked them up online. Then we got to talking about another toy line. The gimmick was they were small plush/silky material figures that came with playsets, like houses, and they were small enough to fit into all these holes and nooks inside the playsets.
