It would be neat to see the Cubs win, exactly 100 years after their last World series victory.

Of course, it would be nice to see the Phillies win as well, since their my home team by default.

I always liked Joe Torre despite my hatred for the Yankees, I like Manny Ramirez, and I really liked Orel Hershiser as a kid. Thus, being a pretty casual baseball fan, I will root for the Dodgers.

Since the cubs were embarassed I will root for the Rays. Don't they have the smallest payroll in baseball?

I'm sure that comeback the next year got you over that though. That Boone shot means nothing to me now after that collapse by us. I blamed Torre for a lot of stupid decisions that series, but thats the past.

I agree the past is the past. Torre made alot of mistakes that series, and things all aligned for the Sox.

But my heart sank when Boone went yard. This year, I felt that the Rays were going to take out the Sox anyways, despite where my heart was.

It's not the Red Sox fault they have the best colors, nicest uniforms, the greatest stadium and the fenway frank
